FAQ
About the product
Who is Salus for?
Women aged 35 and up, particularly those in or approaching perimenopause. The formulation is designed for the nutritional shifts of this stage of life — declining oestrogen, accelerated bone and muscle loss, and the cognitive and energy changes that come with it.
Is it suitable if I'm under 35?
Yes. Salus is safe for adult women under 35 and works well as a daily protein and nutrient blend at any age. The formulation is calibrated for the nutritional needs of the 35+ stage, but younger women still get the full benefit of the protein, creatine, magnesium, D3, K2 and DHA.
Is it suitable for men?
Yes. Men can take Salus safely and get the same core benefits — lean muscle support, bone density, cognitive function and daily omega-3 intake. The formulation is calibrated for women's midlife needs, so a future men's-specific blend may look a little different, but there's nothing stopping men from taking this one now.
Is Salus vegan or vegetarian?
Salus contains whey protein isolate, so it isn't suitable for vegans. It is vegetarian-friendly — our DHA is sourced from algae, not fish. The whey we use is an ion-exchange filtered isolate, which removes most of the lactose during processing, so it's naturally low-lactose and well tolerated by most people with lactose sensitivity.
Taking it
When should I take it?
We recommend the morning, with food, but consistency matters more than timing. Pick a time of day that fits your routine and stick to it.
What can I mix it with?
Salus mixes well into cold water, milk, or a non-dairy alternative — stir or shake and drink. Avoid hot liquids, as heat can damage some of the active compounds, particularly DHA.
What if I miss a day?
It's fine. The benefits compound over weeks and months — one missed day won't undo your progress. Don't double up to "catch up", just resume your daily ritual the next day.
Can I take it with my other supplements or medications?
Most customers can drop their separate D3, magnesium, omega-3 and protein supplements when they start Salus, since we cover those daily essentials. If you're on prescribed medication or being treated for a medical condition, please check with your GP before starting any new supplement, including ours.

Is Salus suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
We don't recommend Salus during pregnancy or breastfeeding without your GP's approval. Your nutritional needs during these stages are different and need to be tailored to your specific situation.
